Hurtigruten Group Announces More Black Friday Deals than Ever Before

Celebrate Hurtigruten Norway's 130-year anniversary with discounts on all Coastal Express voyages from July through March of the following year

Save up to 50% on Hurtigruten Expeditions sailings to Antarctica, the Galápagos Islands, Greenland, and many other bucket-list destinations

Seattle, WA (November 21, 2022) – Ahead of Hurtigruten Norway's 130-year anniversary, Hurtigruten Group - the world leader in exploration travel - will offer more Black Friday deals than ever starting on November 21. Travelers can save big on bucket-list destinations through November 30 with up to 50% off Antarctica, Alaska, Greenland, Galápagos, Iceland, and Norway itineraries, including deals on new routes for 2023.

The world's leading expedition cruise line, Hurtigruten Expeditions, will offer deep discounts on itineraries to some of the world's most pristine and remote destinations. Highlights of the Black Friday sale include:

  • Antarctica: In the new year, Hurtigruten Expeditions will operate 34 different Antarctica departures, its largest-ever offering on the Seventh Continent. Adventure-seekers can save up to 40% on several itineraries, including the Highlights of Antarctica expedition on board MS Fridtjof Nansen, the safest and most sustainable cruise ship in the world, and the 16-day Antarctica & Falklands expedition with MS Roald Amundsen, the world's first battery hybrid-powered ship.
  • Galápagos:Included in the sale are all three new Galápagos itineraries on board MS Santa Cruz, which underwent a multi-million dollar upgrade ahead of its 2022 inaugural season. Travelers can save up to 40% on the northern loop and western loop, as well as the combined loop, which covers nine islands in the northern and western Galápagos. Additionally, the nine-day itinerary launched earlier this year is also on sale.
  • West Africa: Select sailings of the new West Africa cruise to Cape Verde and the Bissagos Islands, Hurtigruten Expeditions' first-ever offering on the continent and the only cruises in the region by any cruise liner, will be up to 40% off.
  • Alaska: Following its successful Alaska launch earlier this year, itineraries will be 30% off, including routes along the Inside Passage with stops in the rarely visited Aleutian Islands.

Additional highlights include up to 50% off the National Parks of North America's west coast expedition, as well as a nature and cultural tour of Central America that starts in Costa Rica and ends in San Diego.

Hurtigruten Norway: special rates on classic journeys along Norway's coast, as well as new routes to Svalbard and the North Cape

In celebration of its 130-year anniversary, Hurtigruten Norway, which has connected 34 communities along Norway's coast since 1893, is offering 10% off all sailings from July 2023 through March 2024 - the most voyages ever on sale for Black Friday. Travelers can also expect 50% off select sailings from January to June 2023.

The sale includes Hurtigruten Norway's first-ever premium journeys, the highly anticipated Svalbard Express and North Cape Express. The first Svalbard Express will depart in June 2023, heading to the northernmost community on Earth, followed by the September 2023 launch of the North Cape Express from Oslo, Hurtigruten's first-ever sailing from the Norwegian capital.

Black Friday deals include sailings on MS Richard With, Hurtigruten Norway's first hybrid-powered ship, which re-joined the fleet in September following its conversion to hybrid power, as well as MS Nordlys and MS Kong Harald, the next two ships to undergo hybrid conversion as part of a 100-million euro green upgrade.
